Our Story

In 1999, Cathy Farley discovered cinnamon-glazed almonds at a public market in Nuremberg, Germany. “I could smell them from three blocks away,” she said. When she reached the sales stand and tasted the almonds, she told herself, “this is something I just have to have.” Cathy made her dream a reality, she acquired a German copper kettle nut roaster and sold her cinnamon glazed nuts at the Beaverton Farmers Market for eleven years, much to the delight of her customers!

After an eleven-year hiatus, it is time for the next generation to take over the nut roasting business. With a goal of continuing to delight shoppers with the best tasting candied nuts around, fresh and warm straight from the roaster!
